I fear self-indulgence - of writing, of emotion.  

For those of you who watch me, or who might browse my gallery.  First and foremost, thank you  I appreciate your time and effort that you would read my stuff.

I would encourage and really appreciate your critiques and comments of my work.  To be perfectly honest, I much prefer criticism (obviously the constructive kind) over compliments.  Because, though compliments are encouraging, criticism helps you learn, refine and correct.  It serves more purpose.  It helps me grow.

Don't be afraid to speak your mind, because genuine honesty is much preferred over silence and polite sentiments.  I will not be particularly offended or defensive because all writers, poets, artists, craftsmen, tradesmen and professionals must be able to work without becoming too involved in their own work.  The work is not the creator.  It is a part of, it might represent, but it will never be the creator.
